Ohio LISW Supervision Groups 

To get your LISW in Ohio, you need to complete a minimum of 150 hours of face-to-face training supervision with an LISW-S over a period of no less than 24 months, while also accruing 3,000 hours of professional social work experience. You should average at least one hour of supervision for every 20 hours of work.

Yes. The Ohio CSWMFT Board allows supervision via video conferencing (telesupervision). Our supervision groups are conducted entirely via Zoom, making it easy to meet your hours no matter where you are in Ohio.

Group supervision counts toward your required 150 supervision hours. Ohio rules allow for individual and/or group supervision to meet the requirement. Most of our groups meet weekly for two hours, allowing you to accumulate hours consistently each week. For social workers who are already getting one hour of supervision a week at work, we also offer a one hour group to supplement your supervision so you don't fall behind!

Beginning in July 2026, our prices will be $20/hour. That's $40/week for our two hour groups and $20/week for our one hour supplemental group. We keep groups small to ensure each session is meaningful and personalized. Pricing is subject to change - contact us for current rates and availability.

Yes. All of our online trainings are CEU-eligible for Ohio Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Counselors through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. If you do training supervision with us, you will get access to all of our trainings for free!
